Autonomous Surface Vessel (ASV)

OCEANALPHA SL20

The SL20 jetboat will make quick work of any bathymetry survey, no matter the conditions in the water. The only true & safe way to complete inland bathymetry surveys or surveys around unsafe objects

  • The SL20 USV supports both remote control mode and auto-pilot mode, performs great line tracking capability.
  • The base station can be easily set up in the field, data can be transmitted in real time.
  • The SL20 USV is 1 meter long and weights 17 kg, it’s easy for one man to operate and transport.
  • Powerful battery and low power consumption supports 6 hours of endurance at 1.5 m/s.
  • With an extremely low draft of 15cm, the SL20 USV allows you to survey freely on offshore coasts, shoals and reefs where traditional manned vessel unable to enter.
  • Waterjet propulsion system typical survey speed of 1.0-2.5 m/s.

Highlights

- Jet propelled

- 35kg Weight

- Autopilot range 2km

- Battery life 6 hours

- 5 m/s max speed

- Carbon Fiber Hull

OCEANALPHA SL40

  • Operator has the ability to pre-program the survey mission with the base station on the bank. The USV and instruments can conduct surveys autonomously and send back real-time data.
  • User can also drive the USV manually by a remote controller.
  • Equipped with radar sensors, the SL40 USV can detect obstacles and avoid collisions.
  • In manual mode, the user can observe water environment via real-time video to improve navigation safety.
  • The innovative water jet thruster brings SL40 USV to top speed 6 m/s and effectively avoids being entangled by water plants or debris.
  • The trimaran hull design highly improves the sailing stability in high speed.
